In my opinion, the MT-15 is expensive due to the following reasons: Very agile and easy to handle - you can flick through the traffic with minimal effort. Feels very refined without any vibrations until you reach 110km/hr. It has a liquid cooled engine with VVA tech and it's a rev happy machine. It also has the deltabox frame.

MT07 is a great beginner bike, an MT09 can easily kill a beginner. It's not just a bit more cc's, it's much more power and the way it is delivered. The MT07 is predictable in it's power, the MT09 will have much more of a specific powerband where the power will be absurd. If you are a beginner, don't go for the MT09.
Yamaha MT09 vs Triumph Street Triple RS. The new model has been priced at Rs 13,000 more than the outgoing bike, and while the Version 2.0 brings some serious updates, it still lacks dual-channel ABS and aesthetic updates.
