Colder air = denser air = less viscous air = potential for more power. Last place you want intake air from is the engine bay.

Im planning a supercharger installation on a basically standard 3l 12V V6 from a 164. Pistons will be standard 9.5:1, cams will be C&B 'mild road' everything else will be stock apart from maybe some light porting.
