EGR valve Clean. My Engine management light came on yesterday so I borrowed a reader off a mate and got the following code: P0490. Exhaust gas Recirculation Control Circuit A High. Also about a week ago the car went into limp mode on the motorway (which my wife was none to happy about as she was in the process of overtaking a truck!)

I suspect that it might be a clogged EGR-valve, but my car has only done 60.000 miles. I live in Norway, so my car came with a auxiliary heater, but the heater has not been working for almost a year. Can the heater have anything to do with it? It's a 2007 Focus 1.8 Tdci Titanium, btw, if this is relevant in any way.
